Q: Who should be involved in a SchoolPool program at my school?

A: Before a SchoolPool program officially starts at your school it’s best to have the support of the school’s administration and possibly the PTA/SAC. SFCS will contact the school and get the process going for you.

Q: When is the best time to start a SchoolPool program at my school?

A: A SchoolPool program can start at any time; it’s based on the needs/wants of the school. However, as often as possible, we try to launch a program at the beginning of a school year.

Q: How does my family sign-up to participate in the SchoolPool program at my school?

A: Click here to complete a registration form provided by your school’s administration office.

Q: What happens after I submit a SchoolPool registration form or create an online profile?

A: Once you’ve submitted a registration form, SFCS will email or mail you a list of families living in your area with whom you can carpool, bike, or walk to/from school. Please allow 5 to 7 business days to receive your personalized information.

Q: Who will I be matched up with?

A: Your match list will contain other families that attend your child’s school. The list will provide you with brief information on other families such as how to contact them and how they would like to travel to/from school.
