Bike & Walk Groups

What is a bike or walk group?
Bike and walk groups are students interested in walking or biking to and from school together.

With the help of school administrators, traffic safety officers, and crossing guards, a route map is created and distributed to individuals.  The route maps indicate students' residences, crossing guard locations, and bike/walk paths.

Most groups consist of two shifts for arrival and dismissal: an early morning shift and a later shift.  Parents simply select the shift based on their conveniences and the shift that works best for them.


How does it work?

• Parents interested in the walk and bike groups should complete a Walk and Bike Group Registration Form
  
• Then, submit information to the school
• Once SFCS has received your information you will receive a Commuter License
