About SchoolPool

South Florida Commuter Services (SFCS) is the regional commuter assistance program funded by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) providing assistance to commuters, businesses, and municipalities in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Martin and St. Lucie County.

South Florida Commuter Services (SFCS) SchoolPool program is a free transportation resource and participation program for school's in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, and St Lucie counties.  It links families interested in carpooling, biking, or walking to and from school and provides incentives to parents and students who use these modes of transportation. It can even match families participating in before & aftercare programs.

By providing SFCS with some basic information like where you live, your child's home, your child's school/before & after care schedule, how your child gets to school, and whether you want to carpool, bike, or walk; SFCS can send you a list of names and phone numbers of neighboring parents/students your child could commute to school with. Then you take it from there and make the arrangements that work best for you and your child.
