About SFCS
The South Florida Commuter Assistance Program, known as South Florida Commuter Services (SFCS), was founded in 1988 to serve as a public information office during the I-95 expansion project, promoting alternatives to driving alone during the construction period. Commuter Services has evolved into south Floridas one-stop shop for commuter information as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) regional commuter assistance program. The program is dedicated to improving south Florida's traffic conditions by promoting alternatives to drive-alone commuting such as carpooling, transit, and vanpooling.
